Accountant - Part Time - £35,000 - £45,000 Pro Rata (Approx. 16 hours per week) - Bordon, Hants

We’re working with a small, yet well-established Accountancy firm, looking for a new, experienced Accountant to join them on a part-time basis.

The ideal new Accountant will come from a practice environment and have good knowledge and experience of tax.

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our client’s friendly, busy team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in general accounting and tax - ideally gained in an accountancy practice environment, and be confident managing their own portfolio of clients, too.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Completing corporation tax and self-assessment tax returns
Supporting clients with queries and providing practical advice
Working with Xero and related cloud software (Hubdoc, XPM, etc.)

About You:

AAT qualified, part-qualified ACCA, or qualified by experience
Strong understanding of UK tax and accounting principles
Previous practice experience is highly desirable
Confident using Xero (or other cloud accounting systems)
Organised, accurate, and able to work independently
